newb having problems with jagged curves

Hi, I'm using Corel 12, with my summa D60, and using Winplot software. I'm just trying to cut the word Signs, layered black with grey. When I use the contour tool it looks great in corel, but when i import it into winplot the curves are all jaged. And when you cut it it looks terrible. How do you go about making these curves smoother? Thanks for your help.

long story short x3 handels the problem very well.
part of upto ver x3 outline problem from experience is the quality of the font out lines, chose a different font and you will probarbly find its now acceptable.
