Hi from a sunny yet cold South Africa.

I am a supplier of primarily small desktop inks and supplies, but we have recently embarked on some aftermarket LFP supplies, which is new to us.

We are setting up a test-bed using a Roland XC-540 printer. As the black print head is damaged, I have imported a no-name DX4 solvent resistant print-head.

Does anyone have any definitive information on head ranks? As I am yet to change the head, am I correct in assuming that the Roland XC-540 expects a 7 digit numeric rank and if so, how does one convert an alphanumeric code to numeric only?

Also any feedback with regards aftermarket products that users around the globe have tried - we have installed a product from Taiwan called "Jetbest".
Anyone out there with feedback, both positive & negative?

Cheers Richard
