Hey Ya'll,

Just got a used US Cutter plotter. My wife and I do glass art (ie. bottle slumping and fused glass). I got the plotter to do some glass etching and some decals for another hobby I have. I have found the hardest thing is drawing. I am using Inkscape and Signcut programs. Right now just on the demo mode. Trying to decide if this is the right thing for me.

Thanks for the add,
Butch

Welcome to the forum. :Welcome:

I'm in the Piedmont/Triad area. You will either love this business or hate it.... sometimes both in the same day! If you really want to decide if this is the right thing for you, you should learn all you can. Watch some youtube videos, google search and obviously, soak up all you can here at :signs101:. I started doing this in 2004 as a hobby and once I started learning more and making really cool stuff I was hooked.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I have already learned so much. I also am glad I am locked in my office at the house so no one else can hear all my swear words from the program not doing what I want! But it is fun when I finally get it.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I am watching a lot of you tube videos. They have been helpful and somewhat nerve wracking. But I have kept plugging.
