Newbie looking to buy SP300i Versacamm any reviews or helpful hints .

After many hours of reading all the forums, decisions to be made please feel free to give me your thoughts thank you all.

It depends on what kind of deal you are getting. The SP300i is a great machine and, as a tech, one of my favorite machines to work on. They are reliable and get the job done. That being said, most of the time you can get a Mimaki CJV30 54" for about the same money. The Mimaki uses newer head technology, is easier to maintain, comes with a take up reel, and even with all of the better features, it is cheaper.

Two weeks after you get it you are going to wish you got at least a 54" machine.....Def go Roland, been using Roland equipment for 25 years, they are workhorses!
