Hi! I'm new to this forum. I'm in the process of expanding my screen printing business to include sign making. I'm interested in getting some feedback on a vinyl printer cutter. I'm going to see a Roland versacamm 540 this Friday. Any suggestions or other comparable machines would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Welcome to the board. Can't really give you any tips since I don't know anything about your shop or what you are looking to do .. but do your research, if you're going to print ... spend the money on a good RIP, it will save you money in the long run ... and expect to double the space you allocated for a sign shop part of your business.

SP540V here, good machine, the DX4 heads are a little hard to keep perfectly clean with no deflections, and a little slow but last and last. If you get a Roland machine you get a good rip so everything is fine there. ICC profiles are also available from most major material suppliers.
