V2 is still the same. I'm not convinced it reads Night Vowl I mean really?
I like using the owl eye for the O and the eyebrow just makes it look ominous.

what happened since I last checked this thread? you went from something that was looking good and just needed a few tweaks to a horrid looking thing with the copy on an arc and some other stuff that just looked bad.

A neighbour called the paramedics and after some lively cpr, my vital statistics are heading back towards normal.

What is the big v thing by the eye? Someone said a beak but it can't be, looks like a check mark to me, I read it as a check. I like the layout posted in #24.

I think this is the soundest advice. I'll Post it once i tweak it.

The owl is such a cool looking bird. I feel like just an eye doesn't quite do it for me. The owls face has some unique features making it relatively easy to come up with a real simple stylistic illustration.
