no black or blue ink prints

Just replaced damper to get rid of air in line problem. inks sucks through the head etc. using syringe but no blue or black ink prints at all now.

are you sure you didn't get any ink on the electronics, and didn't disturb the flex cables?

disturbingly, i've seen this happen quite a lot of times.... routine maintenance, or replacement of a defective part + unknowingly shorting the electronics / cables = burnt fuse [or worse]

If there is a short is there nothing i can do but call a tech? It costs me a small fortune and weeks of time before i am running again. :-(
