No CMY ink from printheads K works

We just bought a used....Versaart rs 640 at the SGIA expo in New orleans.

We got it in..It had cleaning fluid in the lines. I used a Syringe to pull the ink to the dampers and filled them. It wont print CMY. So basically we have an expensive Greyscale printer. Why wouldn't the ink come through the print heads.
It was printing at the show.

If you do a test print from the printer, (Nozzle Check), do all colors print?

we are using versaworks that came with it..got all the updates. Sent a parrot then some colored circles...the only thing it will print is black.
What would be making the ink not go into the print heads. They couldn't be dry already...especially since they were soaked with cleaning fluid when shipped. Actually used it before knowing there was cleaning fluid in it. It printed watery, but colored. Now that I've sucked ink into the dampers I don't know why it wouldn't work.

Went through a whole 440 black cartridge running cleaning cycles,(being the only color that worked apparently) because that worked on our other printer, when its colors ran out.

There is no color on the test print

Thankfully they threw in a couple grand worth of ink.

If there is no color in the test print, either ink has not gone into the heads or something else is up... Give me a call at 606-922-4609 and I will try to help.

I think we fixed it...I squirted some ink from the damper into the top of the print head under the prime the pump theory.
Works so far...

Works now thanks for all the help...Turns out the guys who sold it to us taped the drain lines shut so the capping station didn't work....

hahaha why didn't you call them first? You wasted $130 in ink.....That sucks. Sorry to hear.
