no port showing in signlab 8

i went into work today, and when i went to plot from Signlab 8 to my cam 1 1100/1200 no ports were visible in the plot layout box, but the device manager says its there and its working :O anyone know how to get them back in the plotter dialogue / ports box?

Did you try shutting down both the cmputer and your printer and plotter then re-starting them?

yeah i even reloaded signlab but it did'nt work

Do you have any firewall software, if so try turning it off. Also look at you virus programs they may be blocking the port.

i went into work and ran a programe called spotmau pro, its a cleaner, registry cleaner and optimiser in one, but it done the trick
