Non adhesive stencils?

Do these exist? A customer is making wooden signs and wants custom cut fonts, designs...ect to paint. I would like them reusable instead of sticking once and not being good again

I looked into this last year and wasn't able to find a solution. Well, none that allowed me to use any fonts other than a stencil font. I even tried to figure out a way to make basically a big rubber stamp kinda thing but couldn't come up with a good solution.

If you do want to use a stencil font, there are some things you can do, as people have suggested.

If you have a Gerber plotter there is LexEdge which can be cut and reused many times w/o adhesive.

Depending on intricate it is, we rout them on the CNC on 2mil Sintra. That extra weight keeps them from blowing up and prevents a little of the paint creep you get using thinner materials.

For a plotter we use Bren Inc material- works good and reusable but you have to use stencil font in the real world.
