Anyone have any idea of how this is done. The sample is made from plastic, but the customer wants metal. The size is about 1-1/2" x 3" and they want

that looks like it's acid etched, I know Gemini does this, but it's not cheap.
a local machine shop may be able to mill these out of aluminum for you, you would just have to paint it black and than buff the paint off the high areas.
