I know there have been threads about this, but my current vendor is not accessible recently, so I'm asking here.

I need to get a quote on about 45 or so ADA signs. Who can any of you recommend ?? I'd prefer to give it to some Merchant Member, but I'm up against a wall on this and need some quick answers.

thanks...................... Gino

They didn't specify. They're going in a professional building and this is based off of some guy's notes.

Howard industries has been mentioned in other ADA related threads. I think It was Burton who suggested them?

Matching existing can be an issue, especially if the signs are in close proximity allowing them to see / feel the difference

The 3 options listed all have very different price points.

I'm told to price accordingly to the specs on the sheets. I'm not worried. We already spoke about specifics like that and they said don't worry about it. I'll put that in writing.

We started using Schwaab a couple of years ago after talking with the rep at the ISA Expo. We have done several large and small projects with them since . The work is good quality at reasonable prices. The couple of times where something was done incorrectly they jumped on it and overnighted corrected replacement signs within a few days. Here is the contact info:

for me is a little tricky.... if is a new building, easy, you can suggest the signs or they can give you the specs, but if adding rooms and the building already has some signs, you will need to get one to match or the specs from the builder or whomever ordered those signs.
I work in an university and when adding rooms, I have not problem as I have many blanks and I know the colors from Rowmark and frames from APCO, unfortunately, they (APCO) discontinued the frames we use in campus, that is a big problem for us.

I love some new buildings for room signs, so much easier

matching existing ALWAYS has strings attached, especially if its old and the hardware is no longer produced
