Not sure where to post this, hope this is ok - Need some ideas on storage

Right now, we have a small media room with all the rolls of print media, banner, lam, etc... We basically have them (most all) on custom made boards with the plastic end cap things the rolls come with, screwed on (see pic), but we have a lot of just stray rolls, waiting to be knocked down like dominoes. What kind of storage, rack system, or whatever do you guys use, that is most efficient and clean looking? Need ideas.

You should be able to find a local welding shop to make some. Can be made from 2" square 14 gauge tubing. Having a local shop build them allows you to customize it for your needs and available space. Oh yeah, don't forget to put on casters.

Yeah I've seen those type...may be the way to go, especially for 54" and 60" rolls. We have welder here (not for hire!) so we can get us some tubing and bust out a few of those. Thanks!

Ours are all stored pretty similar to that (48" & + rolls) lining every available wall... Can't really think of an economical way to do it otherwise with material that large.
Just have everyone be careful and they won't get knocked over, lol.

I have seen some large "gun rack" style mounts for horizontal wall storage with dowels through the tubes posted on here before, but then you really need two people around all the time for material switching and room to remove/insert dowels.

looks like you have the perfect place for racks like the ones i built. even right next to a door, like in your photo, these are super space savers!

I like that idea for sure, but typically I am the only one getting the material and loading, and it doesn't seem too easy for one person taking and putting back a full roll of 54" vinyl on that....I don't know. Maybe we'll do 1 wall and keep lesser rolls on it and see how it goes.
