It took me a few moments to get used to how Windows 7 installs True Type, Postscript Type 1 and Open Type fonts. One big plus: Win 7 can provide thumbnail views of typefaces that are not installed in the OS, regardless of whether the typeface is on the local hard disc, on an external drive or elsewhere on the network. That's pretty handy for certain collections, like the 2000 URW fonts I have from Canvas or certain 1000 font collections from CorelDRAW.
