Our 4'x8' printer had developed the lovely talent of popping up a z-axis error when running a job. The two z-axis motors appear to be doing great when raising and lowering the print heads. When we send a job one sheet will print great, the next will stop halfway through with the error. Sometimes we can unplug the motors from teh motherboard, plug them in and that fixes it. Other times it requires shutting down completely and even then it is a complete crap shoot over how many sheets we can print before failure. And ideas on what is happening?
