Odd Occurance in Versaworks

This is really strange and I cannot figure out what the cause may be, hopefully someone else has come across this and can provide a solution.

Problem - The tile overlap size changes on a ripped file in Versaworks if Versaworks is closed. When program is reopened (such as next day after laminating media) the tile overlap size has magically changed from what it was set to before the file was ripped and when the tiles were printed? WTH, I cannot for the life of me figure out just what may be causing this. Anyone got any ideas?

Just to clarify it reduces the setting slightly. If set to .50" then it changes to .47", if set to .80" then it changes to .78"

Sounds like the pinch rollers moved closer and the graphic is past maximum causing it to split into segments.

Or if you mean it's in the separation of the number of copies, sounds like a setting issue.

Player - Offset? Yes I do have an EPS "Margin" setting of .10", have for 10 years without issue until now that is. Did some testing and removed the EPS Margin setting even removed it from the queue preset settings and it still does the same thing, tile overlap size setting changes after closing and reopening versaworks. Further testing (just out of curiosity) I set the tile overlap size to .50" in the queue preset settings and after closing and reopening Versaworks that too has changed to .47"

I am stumped :banghead:

ams - Pinch rollers? This has nothing to do with the pinch roller location, that has not changed.
Copies? I said nothing about copies, tile overlap (as in panel overlap) Versaworks refers to panels as tiles.
Setting issue? That explains everything, thanks.

What is the width of your print; your print plus overlap; and the width of the media from the printer? Is there plenty of clearance? (I think this is what AMS was getting at)

How about:

Under Edit -----> Que A Settings -----> Clip and Tile ----> ?

Yep, like I said, out of curiousity I changed the tile overlap setting in the Queue Settings A or B and when Versaworks is closed and reopened this setting changes. Odd because this is to set prefered defaults to that paticular queue but it's not staying at what it is set to, aparently something is making it change, what exactly I havn't a clue. The only solution I can come up with is to uninstall and reload Versaworks to see if that corrects the issue.

Plenty of clearance, 30" media with tiles (panels) set to approx 27" or less. I've even done testing with other files with the panels set to 15" or less and the same thing occurs every time, the overlap setting changes after versaworks is closed and reopened.

Oh now I know what your talking about. I actually lose some in mine too. It may have happened in the last update. But when I enable tiling, it creates a line around .04"
