Odd situation

i have never noticed nor had trouble with the following. when you pull a control line from the sides or top, i am now seeing what appears to be a padlock icon attached to them. once they are there i cant move them.
how can i fix that? cant seem to find in the help section Using 8.1 v2

Right click on the guideline you created and choose Lock>Unlock

Arrange > Guides > Uncheck Lock Guides

I think it's a preference that remembers the last setting, so if you unlock the guides and then close Flexi, it will default to that unless changed.

still not working

right clicking does not show an option for lock or unlock.
cant find anything in preferences.
when i drag them they are light grey, once you let off they turn blue.
in the past it was no big deal.
havent made any changes that i am aware of
what gives... ive even restarted the program to see as well...negative

What version of Flexi are you using? In 8.6 it is exactly as the others have told you.

As Fred stated, go to ARRANGE menu, GUIDES, UNLOCK GUIDES

yep.. that fixed it. somehow must have clicked it.

I know you fixed it but...

You have to left click select the guide then right click and then you will get the additional options.
