Odyssey X Axis Gear replacement

Replacing the X Axis gear, parts ordered from Gerber. Looks like I need to loosen the set screws on the pinch wheels and slide the shaft to the right to remove the gear. I mic'd the measurements for the pinch wheels to set them back in the same place or within .001 or .002 Any advice from someone whos done this before would be appriciated. I think I'm on the right track here but I know it does not hurt to ask the advice of others. I bought this from a guy who said it was in working order.....always test the equipment!
