Oh Boy… the Harbor Freight’s Mother’s Day Catalog!

As luck would have it, the new Harbor Freight catalog comes in the mail yesterday and what do I find on the back cover… this dreamy tool cart and it’s on sale for $99, reg $199! But, inside the catalog the sale price is listed as $149. I call to make sure they have it in the store and not just on-line.

They have it and while the $99 price is a mistake, if you mention it, they’ll honor that price.

So, I put a heart around it, like a “MOM” tattoo and give the catalog to my sons, along with printed direction to Harbor Freight and an hour ago I find the box sitting in the entryway. I grab my Snap-On box cutters and start cutting it open when my youngest son catches me, shoos me away and says “not till Mother’s Day!”

I walk past the box again and it’s cleverly disguised with a pair of glasses on top. Now I don’t know what I’m getting for Mother’s Day.

Just stuck a note to the box that reads: dear Clark Kent, tell my supermen their mom would also love the Snap-On utility light with retracting reel from Costco. Another scream'n deal... $39!

Just thought I'd let ya'll know in case your still shopping for that perfect gift.

wow... awesome cart... all the mom's I know would hate that... too bad we don't have a harbor freight here :)

(I think I'd have to remove that lid though... the drawers are great, but I'd need the top tray accessible.. bet that lid would make a nice substrate for a tool room sign!!)

I was out at Harbor Freight early Sunday morning.
I can only go there sometimes because it's not real close and I buy too much stuff.
A lot of their things are junk, but it's still fun to look.
Funny, that tool cart was what caught my eye too.
The only thing I hate about actually buying at the store are the clerks who try to upsell you to all those return policy contracts.
Love....Jill

and to think I couldn't come up with a darned thing to hint at! ROFL it is very cool but they don't let me make the signs or play with the power tools too much... I wonder why... hmmmmmmmm

I shouldn't be allowed to play with tools or anything sharp, but there no one here to stop me. This past week while wrapping my son's car, I burned myself really bad with the heat gun, took a chunk outta my knee on the raw metal edge where the bumper is suppose to be and caught my toe under the wheel (that was ugly).

It makes my family very nervous that I use a scalpel rather than an exacto knife, when wrapping. I figure with a scalpel, if i slip, at least the cut will be nice and clean and if anything needs to be reattached, it'll make the doctors job easier.

I need to show that to my hubby Rofl He'll feel so much better about my clutzy-ness!

My son tells me I should wear one of those shirts that says "Runs With Scissors."

Here's tip... I find if you leave a little blood around the accident scene, I mean work area, it keeps people from hanging out and looking over your shoulder while you work.

yeah exactly. this guy next door to me said he funded his entire summer of racing by selling some certain grinder or something on ebay that he was buying by the pallet at harbor freight.

i know people that have done it a lot from Frys electronics as well.
