Hi all, this is Mike from KY.. I've been painting signs for almost a year now and stalking this forum for while trying to glean some pointers from the old timers so figured its time I jump into the mix. I know it's kinda like showing up at the indy 500 on horseback but I enjoy the craft of sign painting and hope to help keep the old dog kickin'.. here are a few pictures of my work- I welcome your comments and scathing criticisms!

Those are cool. They have the old style retro feel, and that look is popular right now.

Greetings from Ft Wayne, Indiana! Looks like you've got some talent. I like your work, especially that killer record store sign!

Nice to see a street artist branching out... lots of young artist
getting into lettering right now. I was just talking to my son's
friend who is trying to make money at it and started hand lettering too.

Don't know if you are interested, or seen it, but check out:

gigposters.com

lots of good hand lettering/drawing stuff...

welcome

Welcome from Butler, PA. I have been a sign painter for nearly 30 years.
The Letterhead movement changed my life.
You may want to attend a live meet and hang out with some other sign painters.
Mike Meyer is having one in Mazeppa MN in March.
He is who got me started with Letterheads. I eventually branched out into the Walldogs.
Anyhoo, there is a Facebook page promoting his meet.
I think it's called Mazeppa Mardi Gras.
I also attend pinstriper events...the craft is on fiyah with the younger set.
Love....Jill
