Omega 5.0 on Windows 10 opens a new instance of Composer every time I open a file

I just updated our computer to Windows 10 and reinstalled Omega 5.0. Now when I double-click an Omega file to open it from file explorer, it opens in a new instance of Composer instead of opening in the one that's already open.

I contacted Gerber support to see if this was a known issue, but they won't even answer me without charging me $75.

Anyone experienced this before or know of a fix?

SOLVED

For anyone else having the same issue, open regedit and navigate to the following registry entry:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\pltfile\shell\Open\ddeexec

Data most likely says (value not set). Change it to the following:

[open("%1")]
