Onyx 10 discontinued Epson printer

I am on Onyx 10.2 and am liking it so far.

Only thing is I have an old Epson Stylus Pro 4000 and it is not supported in this version of Onyx.

Anyone have any ideas on workarounds to use it in v10?

I tried installing the 4880 driver and it prints but colour is wacky.
Trying to profile isn't going well - some of the black swatches drop out..

I guess I can always fire up 7.3, but then I can't run my other 3 big printers while it's running..

Any ideas? TIA.

When we upgraded our Seiko printers, we had to switch to Onyx because our previous RIP wouldn't support them anymore. Since then, I've found ONYX x10.1 to be extremely particular with needing EXACTLY the right profile, etc... for the EXACT printer model that you are using or else major problems ensue.

Looked for a bit but I haven't been able to find anything for you on a workaround. I'll keep my eyes open though.
