Onyx 12 Question

Has anyone had experience with using Onyx 12 with a SUMMA S2 160? I was curious how it worked with the barcode option? We had issues with Onyx 10.1 and quit using it.

We do. We use the barcode server and it works well.

Does onyx do roll to roll with the barcode? As in keep on scanning the next, and continue cutting? Or do you have to load each job still?

It still runs through the summa barcode server if you want to use the auto scan.

Just scan the first job and it will look for the next barcode and keep cutting.
You better load the roll straight though!

Sadly I have a graphtec. Kind of wish I got a Summa though... Once our work graphtec is on its last legs, I'm going to push for the Summa. How do you find it handles reflective media? Ours is good 70-80% of the time... then theres the one panel thats always a quarter inch off for some reason!

Get the OPOS-CAM if you process alot of reflective, it is significantly faster and more accurate.
