onyx cant find my ip

ive installed printer and config port and typed in the number that matches my printer and onyx keeps saying no valid ip address found??? versaworks finds the printer no problem? did i not get drivers installed correctly?

figured out windows defender is blocking it, but i cant figure out or find where to turn that specific one off in windows defender
