optically clear mounting adhesive

we just installed some 3M optically clear vinyl on some windows. Before we started we did some test samples of dry and wet we found it was best to put on dry and it was a bi**ch! All i gotta say is optically clear when you peel backing off but NOT once its on window

out of curiosity, why would you want to permanently bond a graphic to someones window? That doesn't seem like the right material for a window graphic, look for something that is permanent on the graphic side and removable on the window side. Also, i don't think it will matter to the adhesive if you apply wet or dry, i am sure you can ask the manufacturer. What is the substrate you will be mounting? Paper, vinyl, film?
