Oracal 651 vinyl

I thought that's what a lot of people used with their edge.

Oh, yes you can print on 651 on the edge, but this is the vehicle graphics forum, I assume most people don't do vehicle graphics with their 11.8" Gerber edge lol.

651 is not a printable vinyl, it's a cutting vinyl, not to say you can't print on it, buts it's not the correct product for that.

I can't tell a difference printing with UV or ecosol on oracal vs orajet . supposedly the difference is in handling and the printable vinyl wont have any contamination that could affect print quality.

We use Oracal 651 on Truck Lettering and vans, pickups etc. Works great on flat or slightly curved surfaces. Usually get 5yrs out of it. The darker colors last longer than the lighter colors.
Have had some signs brought back into redo with Black Oracal 651 on white aluminum that still look decent 10 to 15yrs later. We use Oracal 751 or 951 Cast for decals that need to last longer.
