Oracal Intermediate Vinyl

I have used the high performance Oracal and love it. I need a suggestion on some Oracal Intermediate material with laminate. There are so many different options. I will not be doing wraps with it but I will be using it for fleet graphics that will need lamination an some decals for outside use.

I have used the high performance Oracal and love it. I need a suggestion on some Oracal Intermediate material with laminate. There are so many different options. I will not be doing wraps with it but I will be using it for fleet graphics that will need lamination an some decals for outside use.

The key is to get the laminate that ORACAL says "matches" the vinyl. For example, if you use a 3-5 year vinyl, but a 5-7 year laminate, the vinyl will start to peel/shrink before the laminate. Therefore, you will have a nasty mess on your hands. BY the way, do you wnat the laminate to "encapsulate" the vinyl?

I just need to cover the front of the vinyl to protect from abrasion and UV

3651 and 210 lam are a good combo for intermediate stuff

but you said "fleet graphics", stick with the cast products for that fleet

I have used 3651 on dibond for signs. What kind of life should these get? I laminate with 210 normally.

I have been selling these products for ever now and as long as your using cast on cast and caledered on calendered you will be fine. Dont buy into the matching lam situation as its just another way for the customer to buy more of a certain brand. Out of all my clients most all of them use house brand laminates on top of their oracal vinyls. But again thats just me but I see it happen everyday.
