Oracal vinyl ?

Tried searching for an answer, but no luck.

I have used Arlon 6000x, and the 4560gtx, then switched to 3m 180c and 8518 lam, and IJ35c and 8509 lam for piece of mind thinking it's the best.
Occasionally have had some problems with peeling of all the digital brands I've tried.

This morning a customer shows up with the laminate actually coming off the vinyl on the hood. This never happened before, but we had a bad winter with ice, and it sat outside. Did this job just short of a year ago.

I have been laying vinyl for almost 20 years. Haven't had problems with cut vinyl, but the printed ones have always caused problems from time to time.
Give the decals 24hrs or more to cure, and clean well before applying, and when needed heat set the material.

Maybe I shouldn't be using a wrap vinyl for decals?

Looking through the Oracal vinyl specs, hard to tell which one will work the best for printed decals (not wraps)
I usually stock a good cast material, and a 3/5 calendar.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help

ive never had good luck with print and cut decals on a premium wrap film i use 3m primarily and sometimes avery1005ez. We us a cheap general formulations product called auto mark for all our flat surface print and cut decals and it works well on simple curves and rivets with no issue of lam or edge peeling.

Thank you for all the replies, helps a lot.
I'm a small shop and only go through a couple rolls each in a year, so I only keep a calendar and a cast in stock.

I like the almost foolproof installation of the air egress materials for when customers apply their own, but being wrap materials with the air egress, that may be where at least some of the problem is.
