Oracal vinyl?

Just wondering if the Oracal 651G ok for outdoor printing,, or is it mostly used as a cut vinyl.. I am trying for find a good white gloss outdoor vinyl suitable for vehicle decal printing.. or is there any recommendation of which vinyl would be more suitable??..

Just get the 3651G which is made for printing or if you want to spend little more get 3551 or 3551RA

3651 is the 651 comparable to print on but it isn't recommended for vehicles. It's still not cast and will shrink a bit and doesn't conform well. Go to Oracal's site and look at their product list. There is a chart of what's what, how long they last, what is recommended for printing, for vehicles, types of adhesives... ...

3651 and 651 might be the same product (cal vinyl), just the 651 being used more for cutting is not rolled in a perfectly clean environment so there may be contaminants when being rolled and thus show up when printing. I use 751 cast often to print on and most times is not an issue. If you are doing only smaller stuff it's not a big deal if you have to reprint if something shows up. The cast media would be better for vehicle graphics and of course laminate. The RA products make it easier to apply.

Thanks everyone,,,, I think I got a bit smarter after coming here! Got a good idea on which outdoor vinyl to print on.
