Osha gas and diesel sign
never seen one of these before. this is posted on a small refueling area in large mill. it seems to me it 1/8"=3/16" FIBERGLASS!!! mighta been reflective white many years ago or just plain white background. a lot of text that would the same for any refueling area. i called a couple places, like my yard sign company i use, GRIMCO, looked in STOUSE, SA-SO, nothing like it. iam sure it a OSHA COMPLIANT sign has a cas no. 8006-61-5 & 68-476-346 14" x 20"

are you looking to recreate? why not just put a digital print on aluminum and make it .080 aluminum just to make damn sure it up to OSHA and their pointless standards

Try petroleum pump service outfit,..here we use southern pump and tank, Joe,...I'm sure there is one in your area(spatco in jacksonville) these outfits cater to your oil jobbers and pump repair mechanics and usually stock these type signs as they are required by law in most areas . they usually have to meet certain standards for chemical resistance (gasoline is a solvent and will affect most types of vinyl adhesive and inks)and fire hazards so I wouldn't try to recreate them in house,...another source might be grainger industrial supply

edited to add the 1203 is a natl hazmat code for gasoline for fire departments and emergency response teams , the other number(cas no. 8006-61-5) is a center for disease control poison chemical designation,...the sign has to be old because they started using green dye to designate lead free gas over a decade ago so the description is rather old if it uses an amber notation

thats why i was thinking this was a mass produced placard. seem every industrial fuel tranfer(from tank to vehicle/equipment) would have to have on of these for each type of fuel. i think i got it worked out, iam going to reproduce the layout, send it to freid of mine with a jv3 and he just happened to have a couple 14 x 20 fiberglass blanks.
