Outdoor Backlit signs image burned out after a year

I have an issue with translucent inkjet vinyl, I have it fail in less than a year of outdoor exposure. It seem to "burn", like a brown out of the image. Has anyone had this issue? I have never had an issue using translucent sign vinyl, I sometimes can get 7 years out of it, even red! But it seems I just have bad luck with inkjet translucent, I have used UV lam, its almost like it might be the damn flourescent tubes that might be the culprit, been trying to figure this out for years.

I bet it's the laminate. What did you use?

Sometimes if the image is printed and laminated before the ink degases it will cause that.

We've had this happen with 210 gloss before. Is that what you're using?

location being in Las Vegas would be the culprit, especially any exposure but facing north.
