Outline fill option greyed out

Weird one. not sure why this is greyed out and I no longer have the option to change this. So when I create an outline, it will fill the shape.
I can't click this box to change it. I used to be able to.
help? Thanks

I hate that. If you figure it out or someone helps you figure it out, then post what worked! so others can read it and solve their issues without having to ask the same question.
I seriously was banging my head on this on and off for a while. Made the post here, then 5 minutes later clicked and bam. LOL always the way
