Over the weekend................................

Wanted to post this the other day and got distracted.

Doing yard work and just plain puttering around the house Saturday and Sunday, I decided to sit on our swing and watch the humming birds fluttering about. Took this picture right after two humming birds took off...... and noticed something in a shrub.
Got this picture of him.
Cut the branch off to get a better look.
Now for the close-up.

Nope.

That's the patio area and we put astro turf type carpeting down to cut down on maintenance...... AND bugs.

In regards to the bug, looks like a caterpillar slept with the wrong ladybug...

We have those in the vegetable garden. These are called tomato worms, although they are really a caterpillar also.

Besides, after I looked it up, we have lotsa these guys flying around. Just never knew they nested here or what they looked like early in life.....
