Paint Chips In Original Paint... How Do You Deal With Them When Wrapping Over?

I am thinking about wrapping my car for the practice and it has some paint chips, especially on the front hood.

Do you fill them with glazing putty or just live with them?

I say why not get out the DA sander and with some 240,320 600grit smooth it down shoot some sealer and wrap away.. You can worry about painting it after the wrap is removed.

also if you hit metal it would be advised to Etch then prime then seal then wrap.

As it is your own car I would stopper them and wet flat till smooth. Just remember when removing what you have done and have to paint later.
If it was a customers vehicle I would send them to the spray shop.
You would not believe the amount of misguided customers who think vehicle wrap will hide Dints, holes, scratches and rust!
