Paint or Vinyl?

We have been asked to redo a canopy on a quick shop. It is currently painted aluminum and cut vinyl. The paint is oxidized and needs redone. My instinct is to have this sandblasted or powersprayed and then repaint with Chromatic and new vinyl decals. Or should we cover the whole thing with printed vinyl? Any input would be helpful.

I would choose paint over vinyl for the main part of it. The paint will look better and last longer.

Depends on the shape of the structure. I'd consider reskinning with .040.

how big is it? If the customer will agree, take it down and prep and paint it with automotive materials. It'll last many ,many years that way.
