We had a client drop off a van for a full wrap this morning. Our team was cleaning it when they came to me and had me look at a few problem areas. Looks like there are several areas where the paint isn't even bonded to the vehicle. I've attached some photos, one of the areas is were they were putting on some tape to test fit the graphics. When the tape was removed paint came with it.
Wondering what our options are. Vinyl is going to pull the paint right off, we wouldn't even be able to re-position.
Granted final decision is up to the client, who is on there way, but do you:
Remove all the paint you can and wrap the things with a big fat disclaimer?
Tell the client to see an auto body shop before we can complete any work?
Scrap the wrap all together?
Wish we would have caught this prior to printing...
