alright i have a large job that i've paneled in flexi7.6 and if i only isolate and print one panel at a time all is well.... but if i set it for multiple panels and send, it goes thru processing , RIPing, and says printing.... but it never starts?

if i wait long enough soon it just disappears from production manager... but has never printed

Repeatable errors that happen in the same spot, action, tool. Step 1. shut down the program then Start/Run type %temp% enter. this will search for all temp files and all files in your temp folder. Delete them. If you are concerned they will be in you recycle bin and can be restored. Reboot and try again.

Step 2. large files need lots of space. Do you have lots of room on your hard drive for your scratch disk? Create more space.

Step 3. You may have a bad stick of ram. I used to have problems printing huge files to a lazer printer. Every time large files tried to acces the bad sector of ram, it would shut down the program. Use memtest http://hcidesign.com/memtest/

update ... if from the production menu i chose "save to file" ... then save that file to my hard drive. (1/4 of the trailer is a 2gig file!) then i can add job back to production manger and it will print.

but if i chose "send" it will go thru all the processing, RIPing, and display printing ... but nothing happens the job is eventually cleared from the list and never prints.

Jester ... do you think i'm running out of memory space? or ram?

you may be right, but i had a much older and slower computer at my old work space and it didn't have this issue. i'm wondering do i have something set wrong in the RIP? and i have hard drive space, so i'll try that mem test , thanks for the help.
