Pantone Question

Got a question regarding pantone colors. I recieve files from customers that contain elements that are assigned pantone cvc colors yet I've looked through all pantone swatch libraries within Illustrator and cannot locate any swatches indetified with the cvc, can someone explain to me what the cvc stands for. The colors definetly do not match other pantone swatch libraries for example pantone 185 cvc is definetly a much different shade of red than pantone 185 c
