Good morning,
When I unpacked everything and there were three color cartridges left in the printer that were jammed up into the area of the platen. When I took out the cartridges there was probably a foot of ribbon that was out of the case of each, so they must have moved a lot during transport. I removed them and put in fresh cartridges, and the print head stays locked over on the right hand side of the printer and a grinding noise is heard as it is trying to move but will not. I turned it off and manually moved the head to the left to see if something was stuck on the rollers or platen underneath, but was not that lucky. I am unable to get this to work as the error stays on as the head will not move.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Fred
