Out of nowhere, my computer no longer shows a preview of each Corel file. Instead, there is just a green
icon with a white knockout of a pen. I searched how to make Corel files show their content as thumbnails but none of the suggestions worked. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Not even if you press view and choose Large Icons?

Did you try an F8 reset to factory defaults?

Here is how to fix Fix Windows 10 Thumbnail preview not showing

Search file explorer options in windows 10 taskbar search

Now, click on view tab and uncheck the option saying Always show icons never thumbnails.

Finally click on apply.

When installing CorelDRAW you have to be sure the Windows shell extensions option is checked. That's what allows CorelDRAW to display thumbnails of artwork automatically in Windows File Explorer.
