pdf files?

I have a pdf file i'm trying to undo to get the vector version it was made from. I have a old flexi sign program that doesnt have pdfs. 6.5 version. is there anyway to get this undone? I can send someone the file if that helps.

Place it in Illustrator then flatten it.
Make sure you outline fonts.

Yep, you can open a PDF in Illy and then copy the vector parts you need.

I place the pdf in Illustrator, making sure that the "Link" box is checked on the window that comes up when you're looking for the file name. Then go to Object > Flatten Transparency and make sure "Convert text to outlines" is checked. Then ungroup everything. Then release any clipping masks. May have to ungroup and release clipping masks a few times.
