PDF Forms Editing

Hey all. Hoping someone can shed some light on something for me. One of my larger clients is asking me to create "interactive" forms in PDF form. I have indesign and word files that I can convert into PDF but which program would I use? They need to be able to be filled out with text and check boxes. Once the document is closed it needs to be reset and all fields cleared and preferably can not be saved with the info inside.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you have the full version of Acrobat the forms utilities are built in. Once you have made your main PDF document go to the tools menu>Forms> and choose create or edit. Then same the document with whatever security settings you want to that will allow changes or not. I think with a PDF that has forms the whole point is that someone can fill out the form and then save it with the info they filled in. If you link the original from a webserver or email the original out you still will have the non-filled out original.

I have a few form pdfs I have made, and if I 'save as' the form fields still remains editable. I found the only way to 'save' the filled out form without having the form values editable anymore is the 'print to pdf'

and yeah, create the blank in whatever you want, open in Acrobat Pro and create the forms there.
