Same here.
Listening to all my overhead costing me money, like the furnace almost never stops when it's this cold, so there goes money out the chimney. Let's not forget all the electricity it takes to keep the machines running, lights on, computers and phones running, snow has to be plowed around the property and there's more on the way for the next day or two. Seems odd, but the electricity it takes to keep the inside of the refrigerator cold. so our food doesn't spoil or our sodas remain cold..... and it's -5º outside. The printers are churning, but not real fast, cause we're having difficulty getting some Okay's from customers. Some supplies didn't make it yesterday or today, so we can't finish another job, that was due today. The truck bay is basically frozen, cause it's so frickin' cold. First time this has happened since we bought the building. Dumpster is frozen solid, so our trash company can't take our trash away, so it's piling up. Calling people and telling them things are going to be a little tardy, due to the weather. Don't think I've ever done that in over 43 years.
Yep, nice afternoon after ya relax and put your troubles behind ya......................
Gonna go home early tonight and sip on some really good whiskey and wash those troubles right down the drain............................
Wife has a great supper planned for tonight and tomorrow we're making a great big pot of home-made spaghetti sauce from scratch and my job is to stir, while sipping on more whiskey. It's a very important~sensitive job, but I can do it. I have the technology.
