Perfect Resize software problem

I did a google search but nothing turned up so I'm asking here. I got the trial version of Perfect Resize the other day. I opened my image, resized it, clicked "Apply" and the program shuts down. It doesn't freeze up; it completely disappears and the file isn't saved. On Friday, it happened with another image but i kept trying and then once it saved it. I didn't do anything differently. The image I'm trying to resize today, I've tried about 5 times and nothing happens. I'm sure it's probably "operater error" but I'm hoping someone here can help me figure it out. I *have* to get it figured out today, asap.

Another thing I notice is that when I open an image, it doesn't show up in the preview window. Well, a small square of it does.

:help
Thanks!

Have noticed with my OnOne suite that it does not "like" a bunch of other things running in the background. I run an iMac and had issues when I had PS, Ai, e-mail,Pandora etc... all open at the same time. Methinks it is a resource hog. Other than that it does an absolutely beautiful job.
And Mask Pro just crushes Photoshop's crummy masking capability IMHO

we use it with no problems. never had that happen to us, but i bought the full version. if i were you i would either do an uninstall and a fresh trail or phone them up and tell them the issue, they are really helpfull.

I have found this software does not play well with flexi. I Dont use this everyday so I have on another PC that is not running Flexi.

Hmmmm never had any issue with it and Flexi but I do have Flexi's plug in folder pointed to a blank folder since I do zero design in Flexi.

I do know many plugins use some of the same protection routines though and sometimes need to be installed in a certain order for all to play nice together. Only thing I can think of is to contact On One. As rush said - they have good support and are helpful.

Are you using it as the PS plugin or standalone? If using it in PS try launching the 32bit version of PS and using it from there, that fixes weird plugin issues sometimes.

+1 to that.

Had another plug in a bought recently, where they stated it was 64bit compatible. Looks like they never tested with anything more than 4gb ram... some kind of memory addressing issue... I either have to turn my mem settings down in PS to something stupid like 1gb if in 64bit PS. If I use 32bit PS, it works just fine.

Good to let them know in any case so they can report the software/os combo bug - they then address it down the track I imagine if a few people report a similar problem running the same set up as you.
