Permanent VS. Removable adhesive question

I have a job that I need to do, I already asked few questions about it but I would like to see it permanent or removable adhesive is prefered for this.

I have to to 5 trailers, the logos will be 4'x4' in size and of course, there will be rivets involved. I still did not buy laminator so I will be outsourcing these prints. I have few options as far as the materials, Oracal 3551RA, Oracal 3165RA, Ij35C and IJ180C or Avery 1005.

With one of my reps telling me that they would not use permanent adhesive on trailers and cars (Oracal 3165RA or IJ35C) I'm questioning myself and wondering do I need to go with premium stuff for this trailer order?

Any input will be appreciated.

Of the two ORAJET films you mentioned, definitely go with 3551RA. 3165RA is not recommended for vehicles of any kind. Even though 3551RA has a permanent adhesive, it is designed to be removable with heat and proper removal methods for up to 4 years after installation.

So basically, the only 3 films are recommended for vehicles?
3951, 3751, 3551, correct?

Also keep in mind. On rivets or screw heads, they are going to tent like mad if you do not use cast vinyl. On smaller utility trailers you can always remove all the screws, does not look very good in my opinion though. I also believe it is a very very bad idea to do that even though I see other shops doing it all the time. Those are self drilling screws they use on smaller utility trailers. They will NEVER hold as well or as tight as the first time, when you take one out the drilling point removes a bit more metal from the hole. Removing them in the long run damages the integrity of the trailer. I have seen plenty of times 5+ year old trailers where the screws have been removed, they barely hold and loosen all the time.

3551RA won't handle rivots, and will barely handle simple curves. Not recommended for wrapping. I use that stuff for flat/slightly curved walls/panels only.

also noted, 3551RA is basically the same as IJ35C-10.... a 5yr calendared vinyl, but at twice the price.

Went with Oracal 3751RA.

Few $ more per sign will be worth it.
