Photorealistic Vectors

Posted this link in the thread searching for a vector image of Earth, but putting out here for the broader community. My apologies if you've already seen these:

The link above shows some truly stunning photorealistic images created in vector (mostly Illustrator using the mesh tool). You can also find some cool time lapse vids on U-tube of people doing similar work with the mesh tool.

Where do you even find someone to do this stuff? Can you do that Eric, or would it just be a waste of time since you could do so many other jobs in the amount of time it would take to do something like this. It'd be neat to have a client that didn't care, and HAVE to do this sometime.

Bert Monroy is one of my favorite "Photoshop Artists". I used to watch his Photoshop tutorials on TechTV (when that still existed).
