Photoshop continues to crash when I set my brush to make a bokeh

I made a brush that looks like one ''bokeh spark'' I set the brush presets and when I start to paint nothing happens except the crash ....

What I want to do is set a round brush with a stroke. Do 3 layers with different blur...
But I can't paint after my brush settings are done !?!

Hi Sebastien ! Yes I have CS5. Thanks for helping ! I tried changing the brush size and it worked. But I'm just doing a low res example. I'll install the updates. Thanks !

Not exactly, it's a particular aesthetic quality of out of focus points of light.

It's also why my Canon 50mm f/1.2 is my favorite lens. :thumb:
Yeah. It's camera speak for blurry background. I have a cheap Sigma that gives a beautiful bokeh.
