Picture Printing

Is there an easy way to set up a bunch of pictures to print in corel without having a file too big to manage. A short cut or an add-on program. The draw x3 files I create are to massive and crash my system every time.

Are you talking about your garden variety desktop printer or something more..substantial?
Large files (>1MB) print well to the versacamm but not to the $99 Epson.

I want a program that modifies the prints so they aren't so large file size and to make printing easier, using Versaworks on our Roland VersaCamm printer. It certainly prints nice but lining up 50 or 60 pictures in Corel x3 is time consuming and makes a real memory hog file. Any ideas? I did up 60 prints in a HP Photo printer and used a full color ink cartridge at $35. I know the VersaCam prints for a lot less

Maybe save them at a lower quality when exporting? Unless high quality is needed for the final product, then there's nothing to do about it.

Quit buggin' me
You can resample them using batch processing if they all need to end up at a similar size and resolution.
Are you ganging all the photos into a single file for print?
Pretty sure PhotoPaint has a script to do it.
You could also use the batch tools from this:
http://www.irfanview.com/
Its free and useful for all kinds of bitmap things.

I was ganging all the files in a single file for print, what a pain.

perhaps a script at oberon could help make this quicker?

All images would need to be the same dimensions I think & guess you could use their thumbnail script http://www.oberonplace.com/vba/drawmacros/thumbnailer/index.htm but modify your page size and then have it create 'full size thumbnails' so it's not really shrinking them. It'd just auto arrange the images into your page saving you the time of importing and spacing each one individually.

I've not used this script, so i do not know if it would resample any of the images, etc...
