At what point do I change the platen gap on my epson surecolor 40600? What size media do I change it?

We have banner material set to medium and canvas to high. Apart from those, everything else on the lowest setting.

Sorry I was referring to the 1.6 2.0 and 2.5 options.

Okay then, I have banner set to 2.0, canvas set to 2.5 and everything else on 1.6...

I had to set my adhesive vinyl (6mill) to 2.0. I was told by all techs 1.6 was fine for all adhesive vinyl but it was causing head strikes, bad color etc.

That's fine then.. if your media is buckling you can either reduce the heater temperatures, or increase head height. I prefer to lower the temps a little as the GS3 inks seem to perform nearly equally as good without the heaters even being turned on.
S60600, prints 2x faster than 40600
