Thanks for all the pointers guys. I'm gonna do some more work on it over the weekend and will post the results.
I may drop the splatter background altogether as I have to be able to print this in simulated process on a 6 color press so some of the colors are gonna have to be eliminated to some degree anyway. I will do some work on the ribbon and change the Helvetica to something else. I'm going to work on the fonts for Screenprinting and in the process I may eliminate the ribbon and the ovalish border altogether and do something with a screen printing squeegee...might be interesting.
